27 september is a romantic drama movie written and directed by Meenakshi Vinay Rai about a man’s infatuation with a mysterious woman, which takes him down a strange internal path filled with signs. The film is based on two main characters (Malvika and Siddharth). The story progresses through Siddharth and his romantic obsession with Malavika. The film that takes us on a spiritual journey where we discover that by changing one’s perceptions, the human body can heal itself from any mental conflicts. The film also have some mystery elements which makes the film more interesting, the viewer wants to know what happened on 27th September.
Other theories emerge as writer-director Meenakshi Vinay Rai’s story progresses, all of which involve a lovely woman who conquer the mind of Siddharth. In any case, Siddharth is deeply fascinated with her and believes that her appearance in his life again is a sign. This sends him on a wonderful mystery tour through mysticism of five elements. Space, air, water, earth and fire, which intensifies story.
This movie is about memories. The film demonstrates that a person’s memories make up a significant part of who he or she is. Memories, even painful ones, are vital to these characters and the decisions they make.They are not easily extricated from one’s life.
The music choices are great which gives the intensity of the reality. The performances from the Meenakshi Rai and Vinay Rai are pretty strong for such a dream-like film. One of the best part of the movie is it’s colour grading, which is astonishingly portrait the mysticism of five elements. This romantic drama is very well made, with convincing acting and has a plot that the viewer will want to follow.
