Maikki Kantola
Maikki Kantola (Finland) Born in Oulu, Finland, in 1967,  Maikki Kantola is a film maker, graduated from the Turku Art Academy, specialized in a children’s media culture. Having  served  as a Board Member at CIEFEJ, she is Director of Videotivoli, a film festival for young people. Currently she is working as Media Educator in Pirkanmaa film center running different kind of video and animation workshops and events from the media fields. Together with Finnish National Broadcasting Company's Children's Programming she has contributed in TV series - 20 -episode about making animations and 20 -episode series about environmental protection. Her recent 20 -episode series is based on folk tales from various countries animated by the children thereby creating material for internationality education.

Vahid Vahed
Born in Tehran, Iran in 1959, Vahid worked as a journalist, University lecturer, film and television producer/director, curator and video artist.During 1998-2003, he was employed by the NSW Ministry for the Arts as a Multicultural Arts Officer and has been the Artistic Director and Founder of Auburn International Film and Video Festival for Children and Young Adults (est. 1998) and Cinewest (est. 1999). Elected as the Vice President of CIFEJ (International Centre of Films for Children and Young People), an international organization conceived and established by UNESCO and UNICEF in 1955. Vahid was awarded a two years fellowship from Australia Council for the Arts for researching, initiating and developing community cultural development practices and screen culture activities locally, regionally, nationally and internationally during 2003-2005.Vahid is currently the Artistic Director of Cinewest and works with Sydney Olympic Park Authority to implement their 'Arts and Cultural policy'

Lee Chee Tian
A Malaysian by nationality but living, studying and working in Singapore for many years, Lee Chee Tian is a self taught professional. Assuming the creation of original stories as his personal calling in life, Chee Tian has, since his schooldays, enjoyed churning out tales and characters in the forms of essays, plays and musicals. Chee Tian’s gift in creative writing has won him awards in song-writing and scriptwriting competitions. As an active drama practitioner, he shows his versatility in writing, directing and acting in various stage, TV and film productions. His recent Film Colours exploring the issue of colorblindness in an extremely sensitive manner won CHINH GOLD in CHINH INDIA KIDS FESTIVAL 2007

Anne Agebro
A Danish Psychologist specializing in Psychotherapy, Anne Agerbo is a extern lecturer  at the faculty of Health Sciences at Aarhus University and a board member of the Danish Association of Clinical Hypnosis.  She is also a co-owner of the KTC clinic www.kognitiv.dk In addition to working with children, youth and families, Anne presents workshops to a variety of groups including teachers, psychologists and healthcare personal. She specializes in using Guided Imagery, Storytelling and Cognitive Behavioral Methods through which one can help children/youth develop and benefit from their own “inner strength and beauty”. The essence is to teach children/youth how their amazing ability to produce inner pictures works together with their emotions, body, thought and behavior. The idea is to teach children/youth that they carry, within themselves, amazing healing and developmental powers.  The one “media” which a human being always carries within him – his own imagination and ability in storytelling – provides the individual with a powerful “tool”.

Carsten Hvidbak
A certified teacher, Carsten Hvidbak has during his career served as Headmaster of a school for gifted children and a secondary school. He is also a freelance photographer(www.hvidbak.dk).25 years of experience in education has provided him invaluable insight necessary in teaching/helping children/youth with special needs. Using “appreciative inquiry” he has been able to help troubled youth to connect with their own resources and engage competently in social interactions and studying. He believes that it is necessary that teachings highlight the need for each student to acknowledge oneself and at the same time develop a sense of social responsibility in respect of others special needs, personal story and culture.

Mag Cruz Hatol
An educator, trainer, journalist, strategist and recipient of multiple awards and prestigious grants, Mag Hatol worked as Assistant Vice-President of the Cultural Center of the Philippines and lecturer in the university before focusing on the national advocacy for child-sensitive television. He is currently Secretary General of the Southeast Asian Foundation for Children and Television, the leading advocacy for responsible and child-friendly TV in the country. Besides conducting a national campaign and writing for a major newspaper, Hatol  is also organizer and chief strategist for the Anak TV Seal, the mark of child-sensitive programs on Philippine television.

Meenakshi Vinay Rai
Founders of an early education web channel (www.chinh.in) and community web channel, National Award Winning Filmmaker and culture activists’ duo Meenakshi Vinay Rai is passionate about creating films on issues of social relevance, education and culture. With 33 international & national awards to their credit, they are bending the rules and imagination to create new cinematic grammar. They have been regularly invited to guide workshops at international platforms. Recent in the list is Emotion Picutres festival, Greece, Basel University in Switzerland and Cairo International Children Film festival. Authors of a book on animation, they are successfully using animation as a therapy for special children via ”‘Spandan- the vibrating visuals” – an award winning ambitious animation project initiated to encourage talent among mentally challenged, spastic amd orthopedic children. Promoting children programming as a special genre, they organise CHINH India Kids Festival and Forum every year. Their extensive research in nomadic communities from past seven years has resulted in launching 45 days certificate course in Nomadic Studies.

Behnam Abasifar
Born in Tehran Iran in 1986 Behnam Abasifar attended University of Maybod majoring in journalism and film studies. With some of his short films screened and awarded at International film festivals he is engaged in various media projects and meaningful media initiatives Roshd International Film Festival in Iran. Founder of an NGO titled YAMIN (Youth Access Media Industry) Network. A musician himself, he is a gifted sound designer and facilitates various workshops with children and young adults in partnership with ICYMAN (International Children and Youth Multimedia Access Network) with his professional knowledge in digital media applications. Working as a curator for Auburn International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults since 2006, he has served twice as the festival director of Wordless International Short Film Festival.

Abdel Latif
Born in Cairo,Egypt in1960 Eid Abdel Latif is an Egyptian Professor and Head of animation Department in the faculty of fine arts in El Minia University. Specialist in animation and Documentry genre, he is leading a pedagogy project aimed at training the children and youth program makers in ERTU through Hanns Seidel Foundation from Germany. Having directed and produced 123 short animations,2 children series and 12 long Documentaries for German and Egyptian TV, he is a regularly invited for lectures in film department in the international academy for media sciences ,Egyptian TV institutes, media school and Cairo university. He directed a German project in Saarland with 50 preschool children between 3 to 6 years old on developing the artistic potential as a communication method between the child and his Environment. He has to his credit the establishment of Animation department in the faculty of fine arts - El Minia university  , Animation Festival ( animation for children) , Youth film festival and one of Palermo film festival.

Avinoam Damari
Born in Israel and working for the last 30 years in the Israeli Educational Television Avinoam Damari has been working as a director, producer and editor of various TV series. Directed the popular live sitcom "ZehuZe", during 1988-1990 directed a 130 esp. soap opera "Time of your life"(Montreal/Canada) and music TV shows, live broadcasts and documentaries in Finland , France , U.S.A and Israel he has BFA and Master's degree in Television and Cinematography from Tel Aviv University.
In the past 12 years he is heading Children and Youth Programs Dept and has been regularly invigted as jury and lecturer in conferences. Recent is the list is Samit - Saloniki , Brazil, South Africa ,Children TV festival in Finland and Austria , Prexdaunbe – Slovakia,Greece , Spain and Cyprus .
