FINAL CALL FOR ENTRIES

Dear friends of Chinh,
I am Johannes Dahmen, Festival Director (International entries) for 3rd edition of CHINH INDIA KIDS FILM FESTIVAL,2009. I am back in India and the festival directorate has started working towards the finale of the festival.
This is the last call for entries in competition categories PRE SCHOOL, EARLY EDUCATION, ANIMATION and ADVERTISEMENT of the festival. Entries must reach until 31st August 2009.

The festival aims on the one hand at promoting the genre of children programming in the world. On the other hand the festival creates a media space for children, where they can express their perspectives on issues like education, culture and development. CHINH India Kids Film Festival also accepts movies made by children and offers media literacy workshops during the days of the festival.

Finally the children´s opinion about the films is what matters in the jury procedures in all four categories. The children´s jury is a great opportunity for all producers of children programmes by letting the movies evaluate by the audience themselves. In this sense I am looking forward to this year’s CHINH India Kids Film Festival and encourage everybody to become a part of it.
