Based on the discussions and agenda papers submitted by the children groups, following subjects have been identified for preparing presentations by the groups.

  1. Fashion (What is fashion for children? Where they get their reference from? What kind of fashion they want to experiment? What are their problems? How do they want adults to cooperate with their growing needs?)
  2. How should adult behave with children ( What is child’s definition of an adult, what are the behavior patterns of adults that children do not like? How to be an adult that would be respected by children? Guidelines for an adult on how to deal with children)
  3. Corporal Punishment – Scolding/beating (What do children find offensive? What are the reasons they get scolding for? What are their suggestions for discipline? How does it affect them?)
  4. Gender – How boys should respect girls (presentation by girls)
  5. Gender – How girls should respect boys( presentation by boys)
  6. Family Structures (Expectations of children from a family)
  7. A teacher of children (What do children look for in a teacher?)
  8. Children Media (what do children want to see in programmes. What upsets them, what pleases them and what concerns them?)
  9. Siblings ( How do children cope up with younger and older siblings, what are their
    problems and what solutions they suggest)
