Synopsis:

Each programme is based on the experience of children in very different situations: a housing estate in the UK, a mountain village in Nepal, an industrial city in China, the desert in Ethopia, a refugee camp in Palestine and a post Tsujami village in Sri Lanka.
The theme of commonalities and difference in children's lives globally runs through this thought-provoking. This series represents disadvantaged children around the world by capturing their positive spirit and resilience showing that despite hardship or poverty, all children have the ability to find moments of happiness in their daily lives.
